System of thinking is a way of understanding situations by identifying problems and try to solve it in a way that it cannot disturb anything for example pest and weeds are causing diminishing yield .you can use spray to decrease this impact because spray has bad effects in soil we can develop seeds trait which are favorable and can be able to deal with weeds and pests.This is the best way of thinking. The elements of system thinking is participation. All that you’ve thought and approved that is right now you have to apply it practical in that way you can see that your system of thinking have good achievements.

An innovations system is a network of organizations enterprise and individual that focus on bring new pro, new produce and new form of organizations into economic use together with institution and policies that effect their behavior and performance.

The innovation system it empower and strengthen the capacity of rural people and promote innovation to enable them to address challenges, take advantage of market opportunities, create wealth, improve their livelihoods and ensure food. This reading is more important because it have many ideas that can either help farmer or extension workers it has lot of knowledge.

Since innovation not only help to create knowledge but they also provide access to knowledge, share knowledge and foster learning. As the extension officer need more knowledge about farming this innovation will be more helpful to them.

Capacity is the maximum amount that something can contain or the amount of something can produces.but since here we are dealing with the building farm capacity the farmer needs the capacity to manage their farm enterprise and manage the social and natural environment in which their farming enterprise operates. We have five factors that needs to be maintained in order to get what you want structure, systems, knowledge, skills and opportunities of any of this are lacking, the capacity is lacking.

Building farm capacity is important to both farmers and extension workers. Making extension workers effective in helping poor farmers. Their mandate is to facilitate farmers learning and decisions making regard change to farming systems include trying of new technology and overcoming problems. Both farmers and extension workers are able to gain knowledge,skills , good relationships , communication and experience.

There are more learning experience that I’ve gone through but I’ll make an example on how to cook rice because it what I’ve experienced. It’s along process but firstly you have to learn how to do it so that you can’t do it in a wrong way.

I used to to seat with my mother when she is cooking. That’s where I’ve learned how to cook rice.I’ve never go at any school for cooking it just a matter of observing thing and do it without writing anything .when she starts cooking rice she always wash it first while she is boiling water on other side .Then when she is done she put tea spoon of salt in boiling water and add rice and close the pot .it depends on you in about time for cooking rice because we have different types of rice which are different in brands. Once cooked remove it from heat and drain it well if it still have water. After that you can switch off the stove and it ready to be eaten. That’s how I’ve learned and experienced.

What I’ve learned in Kolb cycle is that people learn in different activists,pragmatists, reflection and theriost all of them are helpful to the farmers since in Kolb we are dealing with them but I prefer activist because your learn by doing things which is same like training. But farmers has to use it all because it help to develop their abilities it put them on control of learning.

The Kolb’s learning cycle is important but not in farmers only to all people because it to teach us to firstly learn thing before you take any steps or repeat thing if you don’t understand it try to understand more and more until you see it an good ways .

The extension worker learn from policy market and gives ideas to the farmer.The extension workers and farmers are working towards common goal. Where by the extension worker have a power than farmers to deal with problems which farmers the might have. The research that we made told us that we have three things that can help us to make decisions in what to do when we are dealing with problems. Then extension Carousel have responsibility facilitated the learning and build capacity for learning and managing the enterprise.

In managing the farmer enterprise we have three aspect which is management, production and economic. Production involves managing land ,managing input, managing infrastructure managing technology. When it comes to economic we have managing finances,markets and marketing. The two element they used to manage finances so that they can build farm capacity also this is very important to the farm when deal with market. Management also have two aspects which is managing information and organizational capacity. Here the information is required to make decisions when it comes to infrastructure and enterprise.Ogarnizational is dealing about being able to be organized for example when you’re planting you must makes sure that crops that you’re are sowing your sow it at right season and also harvesting take place before hazard takes place.

Managing the sustainability context managing environmental sustainability what activities on the farm and how it affects the environment and how does the produce of farm affect the environment. In managing the sustainability context we also have social viability here we checked that what is activities on the farm that can be affected by social viability.

When it comes to extension approaches, the most frequent models are linear, advisory, facilitation and learning as key players in extension ( researchers, specialists , extension workers and farmers). In this section we’ll look at how the Linear model works. The researchers locate material and specialists compile it all and make it available to the public. The extension worker used the knowledge to raise awareness and interest in new technology among farmers in order to transfer it.As a result farmers used that information to improve their farm.

To give extension services, one must have Extension approaches assist extension workers by providing knowledge that they must use while providing farmers with ideas.

The communication between extension workers and farmers are very important. Farmers and extension workers must collaborate in order to get the best output possible on the farm.

Agricultural extension is another name for Agricultural advisory (what) they gives farmer ideas on how to grow their farms,as well as country knowledge of agronomic techniques and skills(how) to improve productivity, food security and livelihoods.

The most common purpose of extension directors is to disseminate knowledge from research to farmers while simultaneously supporting desirable agriculture development. To be an Agricultural extension agent, you must communicate with the individuals you deal with in order to provide them with the best on how to increase their output.

I assumed that as an Agricultural extension agent, you would responsible for planting crops and raising animals , as well as visiting farms to inspect crops but not give farmers advice on how to improve their products. All I know now is that the Agricultural extension they aimed to Increase farmer knowledge and skills , from supporting farmers in forming groups to connect farmers to markets.

My perspective has shifted as result of the need to investigate Agricultural extension on the other side.When you work as an Agricultural advisor , you must always be prepared to tackle problems because thre are several issues that you may encounter on the farm.
